Ubisoft has released the first part of “Assassin’s Creed Lineage” – a three-part series of short films produced to tie-in with the upcoming game, Assassin’s Creed II. The series acts as a prequel to the upcoming stab-em-up and helps to set up the events prior to the storyline of the game. Make no mistake – this is not a trailer, it is a proper short film with a story. Also, while game movies are usually just a tad weak, this is definitely something different and quite impressive. Can’t wait for the next episode in the series.
